Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the world of television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. It wasn't long before she relocated to Texas. She embarked on a profession in physical therapy. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on various acting roles in local independent films, as well as worldwide commercials. Despite having small parts, De La Garza rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. She moved into New York and in 2001 she landed her first part in the soap opera daytime All My Children as Rosa Santos. In the beginning of 2000, she acted small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first role in a major series on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza had the delight of working with outstanding TV actors like Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was only a few episodes. This character was a hit and brought De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. In 2008, she received the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza got a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments after. She played Marisol Delko and wife to the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. In the role of Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen on the NBC's dark and tense drama Do No Harm. After two episodes the series was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are an Italian father, as well as a brother Cory whom is 10 years younger than her. She was brought up in a conservative, religious family. Milano launched her acting career at the age of seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her at an audition. The audition was attended by four girls from over 1000 hopefuls. Milano is featured in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and in the American premier of Jane Eyre.
